Never staying still long enough to be pigeon-holed, Denise has worked as classical actress and singer to become a household name from her work in UK TV (Coronation Street, Queer As Folk, Bad Girls). Now in a characteristically maverick move, she has joined ranks with folk-rock guitarist Graeme Taylor (Gryphon, Albion Band, The Home Service) to sing original songs and eclectic covers drawn from a lifetime’s devotion to folk, pop and rock.

Denise Black and her fabulous Loose Screw played a sell out week at the Pizza On The Park in Knightsbridge last November - Watch Here & Here - and are now appearing at the Ghillie Dhu in Edinburgh's West End, as part of this August's festival.
