Writing this on the homeward bound midnight train to Brighton.

I saw 2012 in in Dublin with a bottle of prosecco, the legendary Jaqueline Clarke (see Dave Allen's breadstick sketch) and the Sister Act cast. Peppered the road with sessions at a recording studio in Cannon Hill, gigs in Portsmouth and Kent, camping in Nottingham and Norwich, holiday in Vienna and Crete. Not to mention a kidney stone in Liverpool, a scuba dive in Plymouth, more camping in Cardiff (oh boy it rained), so on to a warm, dry hotel in Newcastle (isn't Tynemouth beautiful), injury in Glasgow and eventually the end of the long Sister Act road in October. Phew! Bless each and every one who came to see our show. You made our job a joy.(Well it was a bit tough sometimes, but you made it worthwhile!)

To finally to finish the year off (or is it finishing me?) a new play at the Finborough Theatre. That's where I up to now. 4 hard earned stars in the Guardian.

Life is just a bowl of cherries. If you're lucky enough to be fit and able, beam it out!
